Privacy Policy

Matching Maximize Solution PLC (“MATCH”) and subsidiary companies of MATCH (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) realize the importance of personal data protection and have therefore established the Personal Data Protection Policy. This policy covers how the Company handles personal data, including the collection, storage, use, and disclosure, and the rights of the owner of the personal data, in order that the owner of the personal data is aware of the Company’s Personal Data Protection Policy. The Company therefore announces its policy as follows:


1. Definitions
“Personal data” means any information about an individual that enables that person to be identified, either directly or indirectly, but does not include information about deceased persons.

“Sensitive personal data” means an individual’s personal information that may be sensitive in nature and may present a risk of discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, political opinion, religion, sexual orientation, criminal record, health, disability, labour union affiliation, genetic information, biological information, or any other information which may affect the subject of the personal data, as announced by the Personal Data Protection Committee.

“Personal Data Protection Committee” means the appointed committee with duties and powers to supervise, and issue regulations or measures or other practices related to the protection of personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2019.


2. Collection of Personal Information
The Company will collect personal data with a purpose and scope that is both legal and fair in its methods. Collection will only be done to the extent that it is necessary for the operations of the Company and purposes of the Company only, and for this purpose the Company will inform the subject of the information, and get their consent, electronically, or according to the Company’s methods. In the event that the Company collects sensitive personal data, the Company will expressly obtain the consent of the subject prior to collection, unless the collection of the personal data and sensitive personal data is subject to exceptions as specified in the Personal Data Protection Act 2019 or other laws.


3. Purpose of Collection or Use of Personal Data
The Company will collect or use the personal data of the subject for the benefit of the Company’s operations, for example procurement, contracts, financial transactions, Company activities, contacts and co-ordination, or to improve the quality and efficiency of the Company’s work, for example database preparation and analysis, development of the Company’s operating processes, or any other purpose that is not prohibited by law and/or to comply with any laws or regulations relevant to the Company’s operations. The Company will store and use such information only for the necessary period of time for which the information was collected and for which the subject was notified, or as required by law.

The Company will not do anything different from that which was specified in the reason for collecting the data unless:
        (1) The Company has informed the new purpose to the subject and received their consent.
        (2) It is in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act or other relevant laws.


4. Disclosure of Personal Data
The Company will not disclose the personal data of the subject to any person without the subject’s consent, and will be disclosed only for the stated purposes for the benefit of the Company’s operations and providing services to the data subject. The Company may have a need to disclose personal data of the subject to affiliated companies and other persons, both domestically and internationally, such as service providers who must undertake activities related to the personal data. By disclosing the personal data to such persons, the Company will ensure that those individuals keep the data confidential and not use the data for any purpose other than that specified by the Company.

Additionally, the Company may disclose the personal data of a subject under the regulations prescribed by law, for example disclosing data to government agencies and regulators, including in the event that such information is requested under the law, such as requesting information pertaining to litigation or legal action, or a request from a private agency or third party involved in legal proceedings.


5. Guidelines for the Protection of Personal Information
The Company will institute various measures, including measures to maintain the security of personal data in accordance with the law, rules, regulations and guidelines for the protection of the personal data of Company employees and related persons, including supporting and encouraging employees to be aware of their responsibilities and duties in the collection, storage and use of personal data.


6. Rights of the Subject of the Personal Information
The owner of the personal data has the right to perform the following actions:
        (6.1) The right to withdraw consent for the processing of personal data for which consent had been
                given. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the collection, use or disclosure of personal
                data which was acquired before consent was withdrawn.
        (6.2) The right to access personal data and request a copy of personal data including the right to
                request disclosure of the source of personal data that was not acquired from the owner.
        (6.3) The right to correct personal data.
        (6.4) The right to delete personal data.
        (6.5) The right to suspend the use of personal data.
        (6.6) The right to transfer personal data.
        (6.7) The right to object to the processing of personal data.

The data subject may request to exercise the above rights by submitting a request to the Company, either in writing or by electronic mail in accordance with the form specified by the Company, via the Company Contact below. The Company will consider the request and notify the results of their consideration within 30 days of the date of receipt of said request.


7. Review and Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Company may update or amend this Policy from time to time in accordance with legal requirements or changes to the Company’s operations, and in response to suggestions and opinions from various departments. The Company will advise of such changes before they are implemented.
